Tyler Ervin
Tyler first entered the mountain bike scene on a 16 inch GT pit bike at the ripe old age of 6. He was an animal on the east county trails of San Diego where rocks were bigger than his entire bicycle. The crashes didn't seem to phase him as he grew, however, like most children he phased into and out of one hobby or another until his eleventh year where he firmly established the fact that biking was his passion. He began racing downhill in 2013 and hasn't looked back since.

Personal: I live in Alpine, California, I am a straight ‘A’ student and well liked by my peers and teachers. My parents have always encouraged me to try different sports. I’ve done rock climbing, flat water kayaking, distance running, and even a little mountaineering. I’ve also done the more traditional sports: soccer, lacrosse, basketball and Water polo. While I do love the variety, I keep coming back to my one true passion: Mountain Biking. To be honest, mountian biking is all I think about. I can’t seem to quiet the call of the bike. When I’m not riding up and down Anderson Truck Trail, I’m on my bike in the backyard. I have definitely found my passion.
Racing Background: I started racing in 2014 and fell in love. If it were up to me, I would spend every weekend at a different race. I work really hard and am proud to say that I was on the podium for most of my races. Of course, I would still love it regardless of the results.
